The Last Cookie

Five friends are sitting together. There is only one cookie left on the plate. Nobody wants to take it. They are all too polite. Finally, Marie says in English: "I think we can share it." Everyone laughs. They break the cookie into five small pieces. They eat and talk for a long time. Marie feels proud. She learned that speaking English is not scary when you speak from the heart.
