The Star That Listened

Sofia is shy. She practices English alone in her room every night. One night, she looks at the sky and says: "I am not good at English." A small star shines brighter and whispers: "I am listening. You are getting better." Sofia is surprised but continues: "Today I learned new words." The star answers: "I am proud of you." Every night, Sofia talks to the star. She becomes more confident. One day in class, she speaks without fear. She knows someone is always listening.
