The Whispering Mirror
Every morning, the mirror in Léa's room says something she doesn't want to hear.
Léa wakes up every morning and looks in the mirror. One day, the mirror whispers: "You can do better today." Léa is surprised. "What? Who said that?" The mirror answers softly: "I see your fears. You are afraid to speak English in class." Léa feels shy. She says nothing. The next morning, the mirror whispers again: "Try one small sentence. Just one." Léa goes to school. In English class, she is nervous. But she remembers the mirror. She raises her hand and says slowly: "I like this story." The teacher smiles. "Very good, Léa!" That evening, Léa stands in front of the mirror and says with a big smile: "Thank you." The mirror whispers back: "See? You are stronger than you think."
